Fifty light-years away from Earth are the constellation Centaurus. Here twinkles a single star that shone so brilliantly during its life that it became a diamond. But not just any diamond. A 10 billion-trillion-trillion carat cosmic diamond. It's not something you could hold in your hand. In fact, you’d need a jeweler's loupe the size of our sun to grade it. Astronomers officially called this star V886 Centauri. But even they were so inspired by its loveliness that they nicknamed her Lucy after the famous Beatles song Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds. Over ten years ago in 2005, we too reached for the stars for inspiration. Then we reached back down to earth to discover some of the rarest diamonds on our planet are right at our fingertips in Australia.

So when the time comes for it to take its place in the sun, nothing should distract from its immense beauty. That’s why we created the Centauri Lucy Classic Collection. We select only the rarest of the rare natural diamonds from a full spectrum of colors including pinks, blues, greens through to blacks. Once chosen, our design philosophy is to let that single yet multi-faceted diamond shine. Nothing should distract. from its elegant simplicity. This collection is presented in three unique series of Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. All designs are modern, elegant and uncomplicated. By making one simple, elegant diamond the center of our design universe, then its inner beauty is revealed all to see.

Sometimes you need to look back at our world’s rich history for inspiration to go confidently into the future.From the Renaissance through to the 20th Century Modernists periods our imagination was stirred to create. The result is our Centauri Lucy Heritage Collection.Baroque, Art Nouveau and Art Deco art movements led us forward. Not just in our design studio but also the level of craftsmanship bestowed upon each piece in our workshop.We select only the finest quality diamonds, gems and gold to ensure each piece carries not just its beauty into the future but also its precious value.Then to honor the past, we complete each piece by christening it with the name of a famous artist or icon of the era that inspired it. Many of the pieces that inspired this collection remain in famous museums and private family collections around the world. No doubt as you build your private collection, you’ll want to keep the pieces of the Heritage Collection for future generations as well.

Diamonds are supported by GIA reports while other precious gems have specific authentication reports. Our highly skilled and specialized stone-picking department is only staffed with qualified professionals holding GG, GIA and IGI credentials.We ensure all our diamonds are conflict free by upholding the values of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPSC). No exceptions.We require a Statement of Warranty for every diamond we purchase from only reputable long-term suppliers sharing our high ethical standards.By insisting on this unbreakable commitment, you can be confident that every single part — from the largest diamond to the tiniest clasp in every Centauri Lucy piece — lives up to the highest possible ethical and material standard.
